Consumers have a choice between purchasing their supply from the local utility or a from retail energy supplier that operates in a vibrant wholesale market. The transmission and delivery/distribution portions of your energy bill are still regulated, which means that your local utility will continue to deliver energy to you and every other facility in its service territory.
